Come experience anointed worship and a simple but powerful message on our first topic of the year, stepping out of denial. The Lord wants to highlight areas of our lives where we haven't experienced breakthrough, yet. But we have to become willing to be honest with ourselves. For some of us, becoming willing to see our character defects is the first miracle we'll experience in our spiritual journey.

THE TWELVE STEPS OF RECOVERY CHURCH

1. We admitted that were powerless over sin — that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. We came to understand and believe only Jesus could store restore us to sanity.

3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God by fully surrendering our lives to Jesus, one day at a time.

4. We allow the Holy Spirit to guide us as we do a fearless moral inventory in every area of our lives.

5. We Confessed to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our character defects.

6. We remain entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character by the precious blood of Jesus.

7. We humbly asked God to heal our Character defects by His grace and His mercy.

8. We made a list of all the people we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. We made direct amends to each person wherever possible, except when doing so would injure them or others.

10. We continue to allow the Lord to evaluate our hearts on a daily basis and when we’re wrong we promptly admit it.

11. Sought through prayer and intimacy with the Lord to improve our relationship with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the grace to carry that out.

12. Having found true Freedom in the Lord as a result of these Steps, we allow the Lord to use us as witnesses in our homes, our workplace, our region even to the ends of the earth.
