“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Who is Jesus?

Eternal life is not only going to Heaven but knowing, intimately our God and his son, Jesus.

“And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.” John 17:3

The whole purpose of Jesus coming to walk the earth the same way you and I do, knowing what the end result would be for Him to die taking our sentence and rise again defeating death, was to restore our relationship with God. He wanted His family back, He wanted you back!

You may be thinking, “that's a bit extreme” and rightly so. His love for us is extreme, it’s limitless, unconditional, unbreakable, it goes beyond all natural understanding. Jesus was and is our beautiful exchange. He became all of our sin and sickness on the cross, took our shame and guilt so that we could live how God intended all along, righteous

The moment we choose to believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus is our Lord, we enter into a new covenant - having access to everything Jesus is.

If you’re looking for peace He has plenty. He is the Father to the orphan, a hiding place for the abused, and our anchor in the storm. The heartbeat of heaven is family. He chose us so that we could choose Him. If you want to know Him you don't have to wait, reach out and embrace His grace!

HOW TO START WITH JESUS

If you just want to know God better, or if you sense that something isn’t right between you and Him and you wish you could fix it, you don’t need to wait any longer. God loves you and is waiting for you with open arms. All you have to do is respond, and it’s not hard to do!

  1. Admit you have sinned + need His forgiveness.

  2. Believe the gospel = good news of Jesus Christ and God’s love for you. You don’t have to “clean yourself up” before coming to God; He accepts you just as you are.

  3. Confess your sins and ask for God’s forgiveness.

  4. Demonstrate your decision by taking practical steps to grow in faith; baptism in water and becoming part of the Church.

Pray this Prayer:

Lord Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I recognize now that I am a sinner and I need you.

I open the door of my heart to you and make you Lord of my life. Fill me with your spirit.

From this day forward, I’ll never be the same.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
